Shadow DN12 Cosworth DFV Formula 1 car – Ex-David Kennedy

Available exclusively through CMS Racing Cars: a fully restored, zero-mile Shadow DN12 Formula 1 car. This is an entirely original vehicle, driven by David Kennedy (car #18). It is chassis #02 from 1980—the last of only two examples ever built. It comes with a newly issued FIA HTP (Historic Technical Passport) and is eligible for the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
The 3.0L V8 Cosworth DFV F1 engine has been completely overhauled (zero miles) by Ellegi Motori; full documentation is available. The 5-speed manual Hewland FGA 400 gearbox has also been fully rebuilt (zero miles).
A true collector’s item, complete with all original documentation.

The Shadow DN12 was a Formula 1 car designed by Vic Morris and Chuck Graeminger, featuring an aluminum monocoque chassis and powered by the iconic Ford Cosworth DFV engine. The DN12 competed during the 1980 Formula 1 season.
